Our thanks to the Avantor Foundation for their generous grant of $5,965 to purchase ozone and particulate sensors for Our Air, Your Future: Creating Clean Air Advocates. Metro DC teens will collect air quarterly to better understand the diurnal pattern of ozone and changes in particulates in order to propose solutions to reduce these air pollutants. The project, led by Elizabeth Spike, begins Fall 2019 and culminates in a Spring 2020 conference where teens can share their proposals with leaders in government, business, and nonprofit.
