Be Tobacco-Free Youth Creativity Contest – What does it mean to be tobacco-free? Submit entries through September 1st!

Use your creativity to answer! Work alone or with a group, to design a poster, create a video or write an essay or poem. Download the contest flyer and submit your entry using the form below. Contestants must be DC area youth (DC, MD, VA metro area) who are ages 8 to 14. Prizes up to $100 will be awarded to contest winners!

Rules and Guidelines: 1. You must be between the ages of 8 and 14. 2. Work by yourself or in a team of up to three. 3. Choose one of three categories: (a) Poster Design: The maximum size for a poster is 11· by 14″. Drawing. painting or multime­dia posters with photographs. magazine clippings. paintings. drawings. and text are accepted. (b) Written Piece: The written piece may be a story. essay. poem. or letter. 500 word max. (c) Video Project: Submissions may be between 30 seconds and 5 minutes. 4. Make sure your name and a parent or guardian’s contact information is on your entry! We can’t recognize your hard work if we don’t know who you are! 5. Materials submitted will not be returned and may be used as promotional material for Breathe DC.
