Update on COVID-19 and the Breathe DC Community
Keeping our staff, participants and community healthy and safe are our top priorities during these challenging times. With that goal in mind, Breathe DC has canceled most in-person services, suspended some programs and updated several of our procedures.
Because many of our face-to-face programs serve vulnerable populations, including those with asthma and other lung diseases, we are taking steps to reduce our consumers’ potential exposure to COVID-19.

Although our daily operations are impacted by recommendations for closures and social distancing, we are hopeful that with the measures we are taking as a community, the impact of this public health crisis in our city will be contained.
As coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues to spread throughout the United States and globally, Breathe DC has updated guidance on how to protect yourself and your family from becoming infected by coronavirus.
Breathe DC is closely following reports issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and updates issued by the District of Columbia. We will help share important public health information provided by public health experts and local leaders.
